I went away for a few days last week, and when I returned my brothers showed me that the green beans had started growing. I was so excited when I saw them. We also put some tomato plants in our garden recently. Hopefully they will grow right and we’ll have a fruitful crop of tomatoes.
This picture I took today of the bean plants. The carrots and onions I planted have sprouted as well but they are too small for me to take a picture of them. There are some brave little weeds poking up too. It din’t take long for them to show up on their own.
I look forward to seeing some produce from our garden. One of my favorite things about gardening is seeing all the stages of a plant’s life. Isn’t it wonderful how one little seed can grow into a big tomato plant, producing multiple tomatoes that are full of even more seeds? This all points to the Creator of the earth that commanded living things to be fruitful and multiply. God is so amazing!
I love your site Kristi. I have been working on some crafty things myself and yesterday I picked lots of yummy snow peas from the garden. This is only our second year for raised beds. They are awesome. I am so glad you are my niece. You are a blessing to me.
